Paying close attention to details in managing payroll and human resources can often make the difference between success and adversity for organizations. Unaddressed issues can snowball into serious complications like compliance problems, unexpected expenses, legal hurdles, and unhappy employees. Some of the most critical business-related issues follow: Changing your business bank account: Report this immediately to your payroll provider to prevent payment mishaps and potential fraud risks. Modifying your tax ID: Communicate this to avoid tax filing issues and potential fines. Altering your company name: Inform your payroll provider promptly to ensure accurate record-keeping and avoid legal issues. Relocating your business: Report address changes to avoid lost mail, potential identity theft, and tax discrepancies. Receiving a notice from the IRS: Relay this to your HR and payroll provider immediately to understand the notice, take the right action, and avoid potential penalties. By actively identifying and addressing these HR and payroll issues, organizations can sidestep unnecessary problems, remain compliant, and cultivate a healthier, more productive work environment.

Recruiting is not cheap—or easy! Doing your own recruiting is often incorrectly believed to be less expensive than working with a professional recruiter.
